X-mas Blow Out Sale- New Years Dance-50th Anniversary-Gowan Brae Draw

Again this year the Gowan Brae Pro Shop will be open in early December for everyone in the region to shop for your favourite Golfer. There are lots of new products that have just arrived for x-mas and also some excellent sales on name brand items. The New Years Dance will be on again this year as well with the High Tide Band on the scene. We are going with hot and cold hor douvres in the 19th hole which includes bacon wrapped scallops, shrimp, chicken wings, steak strips and other trays of food between 8:00pm and 9:00pm.Tickets for this evening will be on sale in the pro shop beginning December 6th at $45 per person. Next year, 2008 will be the 50th Anniversary of Gowan Brae Golf Club. We have a number of peices of apparel with 50th anniversary crests which will be available at Christmas. Also, a lottery is being organized for free memberships for 2008. More details will be available shortly on the lottery. These will be popular x-mas gifts as well as our pro shop gift certificates. |

Summer Information Meeting

A summer information meeting will be held at Gowan Brae at 8:00pm on Tuesday, July 25th. This meeting is for all adult members of Gowan Brae. The purpose of the meeting is to update the members on our progress so far in 2007.Members are urged to attend. |

Labatt Scramble Full- June 23rd and 24th- Saturday and Sunday

For the eighth year in a row the Labatt Scramble has filled and no further teams are being accepted. This event has become one of the premier scramble events in the Province with several teams arriving from the Moncton and Fredericton areas. It is a great social tournament with Labatt providing excellent Sponsorship services throughout the weekend. As well, the competitive players enjoy the challenge of Gowan Brae as it will test the nerves of the best of players. Thanks to all the competitors who have supported this event over the years and Good Luck to everyone. |

Ladies Field Day and NB Provincial Best Ball at Gowan Brae

Time is running out to register for these events. June 1st is the final date for players to register for the Provincial Best Ball being held at our course on Sunday, June 10th. This is a team event with two people playing their own ball.Only the best score from the team counts towards your overall score. This is the first year that the NBGA has held this event and they are hoping for a good turn out. You must register directly with the NBGA office in Fredericton. If you need more information just inquire at the Pro Shop. Also, the Ladies Invitational at Gowan Brae is on Saturday, June 9th. Players have until Tuesday, June 5th to enter this event. Please enter as soon as possible as these events will fill quickly.
