Paul Hachey wins Dundee Wealth Management Senior Championship August 12th, 2008 Paul Hachey shot a three round total of 2 over par and won the NB Senior championships by 8 strokes over Gowan Brae member Gilles Masse. Both players will represent NB at the Canadian Senior Championships in September at Sault Saint Marie, Ontario.

New Members Information Night May 28th, 2008 All new members are encouraged to attend an information session on Tuesday evening June 3rd at 7:00pm. A review of the services offered will be presented and procedures necessary to ensure each and every new member gets the greatest benefit from their membership. The meeting will offer all new members a chance to ask any questions they may have as well. A brief review of some golf course etiquette will be reviewed as well. A wine and cheese will be available at the session which will be held in the Lounge at the club.

Booking Tee Times- Please Note May 21st, 2008 Tee times can be booked by calling the starter between 8:00am and 8:00pm. This will be in force until Wednesday May 28th at which time booking will start at 7:00am as will regular tee times. This is necessary to follow the weather as it warms during the spring. From May 25th, times will be booked as in the past until mid June at which time we plan on opening up a few tee times which can be booked on line by members only. There will only be a few times through out the day that can be booked on line to give the administration an opportunity to evaluate the impact of on line booking for members only. More details will follow on how to complete the on line booking and the exact date we will start.

Beth Lord Memorial Scholarship Fund Raiser Dinner April 15th, 2008 A special evening will take place at Gowan Brae Golf Club on Friday, May 9th. All members, guests and general public are welcome to attend. A dinner and dance to raise funds for the Beth Lord Memorial Scholarship fund will be hosted by Gowan Brae Golf Club. See the attached information.

Annual General meeting Rescheduled January 13th, 2008 The Annual General Meeting has been rescheduled for this Monday, January 21st at 7:00pm.
