There are some very important events happening at Gowan Brae over the next few weeks. The first event is the Annual Terry Fox Elementary School Wreath Auction which is being held at Gowan Brae on November 25th, Wednesday evening. This is a great opportunity to support the school projects and pick up some wonderful x-mas decorarations at the same time. This will be a great evening with finger food being served during the silent auction. All members and guests are urged to attend.

Also, the Pro Shop will be open for one of the biggest x-mas sales we have ever offered. There is a great mix of inventory from last summer as well as new inventory that has just arrived. This is a great way to save and please the golfer in the family.Adam will be here to help you with your selections if you are not sure. Finally, the Annual Meeting for Gowan Brae Members will be held Sunday evening December 13th at 7:00pm. Please try to be in attendance.

The course and the pro shop will remain open until Sunday, November 1st. After that date members only will be permitted to play on frost free conditions until the covers are installed. The clubhouse and pro shop are closed after November 1st so members are urged to remove clubs and other belongings  from lockers and club storage area as there is no insurance coverage for these items by the club. Also, please remove all electric cart caddies by this date as well.

The Pro Shop will re-open at the end of November and up until x-mas for a gigantic x-mas sale of all stock. This will be a great opportuinity to pick up x-mas gifts for everyone at tremendous savings. There will be several items selling well below cost and all these items are  2009 inventory. This sale will be unmatched anywhere and includes all items in the shop.
